Lorenzo was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and raised primarily in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. He relocated to Moberly, MO in 2004 to pursue his Bachelor of Science degree in Youth and Family Ministry which he earned through Central Christian College of the Bible in 2008.
Throughout his biblical collegiate experience, Lorenzo solidified a passion for serving children and families through ministry. From 2009 to 2011, he and his wife served as full-time foster parents through the organization formerly known as Coyote Hill Christian Children’s Home.
In 2018, Lorenzo began his journey as a Family Development Trainer with Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association. Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association equipped Lorenzo with the knowledge and opportunity to train and license foster/adoptive families in Boone and Cole County. With some years of experience under his belt, Lorenzo returned to Coyote Hill as a Family Advocate and trainer for their newly developed Foster Care Services program in 2020. The program grants Lorenzo the opportunity to directly and indirectly advocate for foster/adoptive families beyond licensing.
As the biological father of 3 wonderful children and the adoptive father of a young man that has matured into adulthood, Lorenzo understands the need for community support as parents from all walks of life navigate the intricacies and complexities of rearing children in the modern economic and social climate. He hopes to use his strengths and experience to expand the reach and impact of Kingdom Konnections.
